I tried the Zeytoon Parvardeh, Booraniyeh Laboo and made the Ghaliyeh Mahi Va Meygoo but did not add as much fenugreek and used all prawns… delicious! Yoghurt soup and eggs with dates… still lots of recipes to try from this lovely cookbook. Looking forward to seeing more recipes in your Grandmas pan.

Ariana Bundy was in Bahrain promoting her cookbook Pomegranates and Roses so I got to meet the lovely lady and buy her cookbook. I agree with you Mina it is a beautiful book and has some lovely recipes. When I was a child I remember a bird call a Kuku… not sure of the spelling but the sound was the same! Love Grandmas pan and the omelette looks delicious!

Thank You Ishita. I have legion of cookbooks, I keep on paging them through for inspiration, making mental marks about recipes I could cook, many times I end up cooking my favorite regular repertoire. Gizzi’s book actually made me cook not only read . Now that I know and am conscious about connection between tuna and dolphins, I have to make right choice, haven’t I.

Lovely post Minna and I really liked the way you tweaked the recipe according to your convenience – that’s what cooking is all about, experiments and innovations! I watched Gizzi on Friday – she seemed just like a character out of the 1960s TV episodes. Pretty, so pretty – I caught her as well. She had made a tnagy Chicken wings and Sashimi – the first one might be the feast option while the 2nd one must be the skinny one! Really appreciate the tiny message at the end of your post:)

Thank You Sally for your visit and nice words. I was so surprised about tuna fishing downsides, well better to know late than never.
Hope to see some new ideas and dishes at next years Taste of Dubai. And looking forward for next foodie event; International Fine Food festival.
